Day 2 : 4th June 2025 – Bus to Kruger National Park

Another early start for our bus trip to Kruger National Park. We left the hotel at 8.20am and there were just 2 stops. The first was to pickup some food for lunch at a small zoo called Alzu and the second at a general store with fruit tasting and other food and small gifts which Daisy took full advantage of.

We arrived at Nkambeni Safari Camp around 16:30 and assigned to tent 82. This is another fine example of clamping. King sized bed with modern en-suite and balcony, looking onto bushland and situated right next to one of the entry gates to Kruger National Park. We were told that we would get a 5:00 knock on the door tomorrow, with breakfast at 5:30 and leaving on our first safari at 6:00. So it was another early night.
